The Correlation Between English Language Learning Strategies and Students' Thinking Style at The Second Grade of MAN 1 Kolaka

This study was conducted at MAN 1 Kolaka. The objective is to find out information and data weather there any correlation between English language learning strategy students’ thinking style the second grade AGAMA I of research design descriptive quantitative in nature. were collected through questionnaires. Findings revealed that Language Learning Strategy Kolaka Metacognitive with total frequency 47% Students’ Thinking Style Extrovert percentage 53%. Population second-grade students sample class based on random sampling technique which consisted 15 students. analysis used this product moment formula showed no Style. It could be synthesized hypothesis r-count lower than r-table. So H1 rejected H2 accepted. coefficient Correlation Strategies did not have significant = -0,218 r-table 0,514 significance level 5% degree freedom (df) (-0,218>0,514). Therefore, it categorized as low correlation. H0
